Aeo is the premier dual-armed mobile service humanoid robot developed by Aeolus Robotics, designed to alleviate severe labor shortages across eldercare, healthcare, and commercial property facilities. Deployed extensively across Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and North America, Aeo combines a dynamic wheeled base with two third-generation 7-DoF articulated arms capable of simultaneous, independent tasks. One arm can manipulate door handles or elevator buttons while the second delivers food, runs medication, or operates a germicidal ultraviolet disinfection lamp. Equipped with third-party developer integration (Asratec, Malibu AI), Aeo uses AI vision algorithms to assess resident posture, detect open windows or lost luggage, and navigate safely around vulnerable people.
