Dyno is VinDynamics’ humanoid robot platform developed for industrial, security, and service tasks, with a focus on human-like mobility and manipulation in structured and semi-structured environments. Publicly shown in a third-generation configuration, it uses 31 smart motors, stands about 1.78 m tall, and weighs around 75 kg. The robot is designed to walk in crowded spaces, perform greeting and guidance gestures, and handle light objects with both arms. VinDynamics positions Dyno as an assistant for factories, hazardous sites, campuses, and household-support scenarios, with development centered on autonomy, environmental awareness, and multilingual interaction. Current demonstrations indicate teleoperated operation is still part of its development pathway.
