Dax Robotics
Dax Robotics (大咖机器人, also written DaxAI Robotics) is a Beijing embodied-AI company founded in May 2025 that builds heavy-load legged "robot horses" and its own robot world model. Founder and CEO Wang Kun spent 12 years in robotics and autonomous driving and was on the original team of JD's unmanned-vehicle project, and co-founder and CTO Xu Wenqiang is a former USTC Young Talent Class student and NUS postdoctoral researcher. On 22 April 2026 Dax launched the Qiji T1000 at the Bird's Nest stadium, a robot horse that carries up to 1,000 kg on self-developed joints with more than 2,000 N·m of torque, aimed at patrols, firefighting and rescue, construction and logistics. At WAIC 2026 it showed the rideable Qiji X1 and the wheel-legged Qiji XS and announced its DaxBrain-WM (Dualis) world model, and more than 3,000 people pre-ordered the robot horses on JD.com in the first hour. Dax says it raised several hundred million yuan in four rounds in its first year, led by GSR Ventures, Yunshi Capital and Shengshi Investment.
💡Notable Achievement: Launched the Qiji T1000, billed as the first ton-class heavy-load robot horse, in April 2026.

Qiji T1000 is a ton-class heavy-load robot horse from Dax Robotics in Beijing, unveiled at the Bird’s Nest stadium in April 2026 as the first legged robot able to carry a full tonne. Its self-developed joints deliver torque several times higher than typical robot dogs, and an ultra-high-voltage power system gives it one to two days of endurance. It is built to follow patrols up snowy passes, haul hoses and rescue gear into fire zones, carry building materials up steep sites and move cargo where trucks cannot go, crossing snow, ice, mud, rock and slopes.
