RealBot-01 is RealMan Robotics' modular wheeled humanoid, the original robot of its RealBOT family. A humanoid upper body with a head, torso and two arms sits on a separable wheeled base, so the upper body can be detached and used on other chassis or other RealMan dual-arm platforms. It has 21 active degrees of freedom: 14 in the two RealMan arms, three in the waist, two in the legs and two in the neck, and each arm carries 5 kg. The robot is 1.68 m tall and weighs about 125 kg, yet its chassis and shoulders are under 465 mm wide so it can pass through narrow corridors and turn in place within a 690 mm radius. It reaches 2.1 m high and 1.8 m forward, drives at 0.1 to 1.5 m/s, and perceives its surroundings with five depth cameras, three fisheye cameras, a LiDAR, two IMUs and a head microphone array, with optional tactile sensors. A 40 Ah battery charges in about 2 hours. RealMan builds it for research, data collection and service work, and it works with grippers and dexterous hands from OYMotion, BrainCo and Zhixing as well as RealMan's own RX75, RM75 and RM65 arms.

Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about this robot

Q1. What is RealBot-01, and what problem is it designed to solve?

RealBot-01 is a modular wheeled humanoid from RealMan Robotics. It gives research labs, data-collection teams and service developers a two-armed robot that can move through tight indoor spaces.

Q2. What are the main capabilities and key features of RealBot-01?

It has a full set of active joints through the arms, waist, legs and neck, two arms with a useful carrying load each, a separable wheeled base, all-round cameras and LiDAR for navigation, and compatibility with several grippers and dexterous hands.

Q3. Who is RealBot-01 built for, and which industries can benefit from it?

It is built for research and education, for teams collecting real-world robot data, and for service and light industrial tasks indoors.

Q4. Is RealBot-01 a commercial product or still a research prototype?

It is a commercial product listed on RealMan's website, aimed at developers and organizations rather than a one-off prototype.

Q5. Is RealBot-01 currently available for purchase, and when is it expected to ship?

Yes, RealMan sells it through its sales team and quotes prices on request, so availability and delivery are agreed with the company.

Q6. How does RealBot-01 actually work in real-world environments?

It maps and avoids obstacles with LiDAR and depth cameras, listens through a microphone array, and moves its arms and hands with RealMan's own joint modules; operators can also take over remotely.

Q7. When was RealBot-01 announced or officially launched?

It was first shown publicly in the RealBOT family around late 2025 and appeared at CES 2026 in Las Vegas.

Q8. How is RealBot-01 different from other robots in the same category?

Its upper body detaches from the wheeled base and can be reused on other platforms, and its narrow body lets it pass through corridors where larger wheeled humanoids cannot.

Q9. Does RealBot-01 require additional development or customization after purchase?

Users can add grippers or dexterous hands, choose a camera option, and build their own software on top, since the platform is designed to be open.

Q10. What is the future roadmap or planned upgrades for RealBot-01?

RealMan keeps widening the RealBOT family; newer wheeled humanoids such as the RealBot-S2 and RealBot-L2 share its arms and technology base.
