Lovot

Lovot is a companion/social robot designed to nurture human emotions and combat loneliness by providing affectionate interactions without performing practical tasks. Key features include a warm, fuzzy body with touch sensors throughout, expressive LCD eyes displaying six-layered emotions, 13 degrees of freedom for lifelike movements like hugging and following owners, and AI-driven behaviors such as face recognition, voice responses, and autonomous charging. It uses depth and 360-degree half-sphere cameras for navigation and interaction, microphones for sound detection, and sensors for touch, posture, obstacles, temperature, and humidity.
