MoBo

Last updated:

Mobo is AiMOGA Robotics' first consumer-grade humanoid robot, designed as a companion for the home. AiMOGA is Chery's robotics brand, and it showed Mobo for the first time at the World Robot Conference (WRC) 2026 in Beijing in August 2026, where it walked the show floor next to the Argos robot dog, danced and chatted with visitors. Mobo is a compact white humanoid with a round, expressive face. Gasgoo's WRC coverage reports that it stands roughly 0.9 m tall and weighs about 18 kg, and AiMOGA says it has a 22-degree-of-freedom full-body motion system for gestures, stable movement and dance. It runs AiMOGA's MoAgent AI system, which splits complex requests into steps and plans longer tasks. A vision-language model combines what Mobo sees and hears to recognize objects, people and the home, and long-term memory lets it learn each family member's habits and preferences. AiMOGA positions Mobo for companionship and learning for children, daily reminders such as medication for older family members, and remote home monitoring through an app.

Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about this robot

Q1. What is Mobo, and what problem is it designed to solve?

Mobo is a small humanoid robot from AiMOGA Robotics, Chery's robotics brand. It is designed to be a companion for the home rather than a worker for shops or public spaces.

Q2. What are the main capabilities and key features of Mobo?

It walks, gestures and dances, recognizes objects and people, talks with family members, remembers their habits and preferences, plans multi-step tasks, and can send reminders or let you check on your home from an app.

Q3. Who is Mobo built for, and which industries can benefit from it?

It is aimed at families: companionship and learning for children, daily reminders and company for older relatives, and remote home monitoring when no one is in.

Q4. Is Mobo a commercial product or still a research prototype?

It is being prepared as a commercial consumer product. AiMOGA showed it at a major robot conference in 2026 and plans to start mass production by the end of 2026.

Q5. Is Mobo currently available for purchase, and when is it expected to ship?

AiMOGA plans to open global pre-orders at the October 2026 Chery International User Summit. Price and delivery timing have not been announced.

Q6. How does Mobo actually work in real-world environments?

Its MoAgent AI system turns a request into smaller steps and plans them. A vision-language model lets it understand what it sees and hears, and a long-term memory keeps each family member's preferences.

Q7. When was Mobo announced or officially launched?

AiMOGA introduced it publicly at the World Robot Conference in Beijing in August 2026 and plans its formal unveiling and pre-orders in October 2026.

Q8. How is Mobo different from other robots in the same category?

Most AiMOGA robots work in showrooms, shops and public services. Mobo is the company's first robot built for family life, with a friendly look, memory and privacy protection.

Q9. Does Mobo require additional development or customization after purchase?

AiMOGA has not described any extra setup. The robot is meant to work out of the box as a home companion with its app.
