Unitree Go2
by Unitree Robotics
Released: 2023
The Unitree Go2 is an advanced bionic quadruped robot dog developed by Unitree Robotics, designed as a versatile companion for entertainment, research, education, and industrial applications. It features enhanced AI capabilities, including GPT integration for improved interaction, and a self-developed 4D LiDAR L1 or L2 for 360°x90° or 96° ultra-wide-angle perception with minimal blind spots and detection as close as 0.05m, enabling all-terrain awareness and 3D point cloud mapping. Key capabilities include high-speed movement up to 5m/s in top models, peak joint torque of 45N.m across 12 aluminum knee joint motors, intelligent side-follow system (ISS2.0) with 50% improved positioning accuracy and over 30m remote control range, advanced gaits like jumping, climbing, handstands, and adaptive maneuvers via large-scale AI simulation training. With a lightweight 15kg frame, up to 150% increased battery endurance (2-4 hours), and modular peripherals, Go2 excels in complex environments such as stairs, gravel, slopes, and obstacles up to 70cm, targeting consumers, researchers, educators, and industries like inspection and security.
