by Addverb Technologies
Released: 2024
Trakr is India's first homegrown quadruped robot dog developed by Addverb Technologies, designed for precision, agility, and adaptability in challenging environments. It excels in remote inspections, security patrols, surveillance, and 'Three D' missions—Dull, Dirty, or Dangerous tasks—utilizing real-time environmental data and advanced vision-language models to navigate hazardous terrains beyond pre-programmed routines. Key capabilities include 12 actuators for responsive movement, four stereo cameras for multidirectional perception and object detection, optional pressure sensors for safe interaction, dynamic balancing, and 360° camera capability. With a 5 kg payload capacity (upgradable to 20 kg in Trakr 2.0), 90-minute runtime, and ability to climb 18 cm obstacles in temperatures from -5°C to 45°C, Trakr targets industries like manufacturing, energy, construction, defense, oil exploration, security, and healthcare for tasks such as gas leak detection, tactical surveillance, patrolling, and assistive monitoring of manual laborers. Its gesture-based commands and edge computing enable seamless human-robot synergy, making it a scalable solution for intelligent automation and public safety.
